In Chinese market, Caprolactam (CPL) price remained steady around RMB 21850 / ton. High caprolactam prices could restrict speculative trading, and a further squeeze on downstream margins could restrict caprolactam price gains.
In Chinese market, Nylon chip price also remain unchanged around RMB 24100 /ton. Downstream markets are expected to improve in line with strong seasonal demand in the com¬ing months.
In parallel with upstream product price Nylon POY and FDY stood steady around RMB 26900 / ton and RMB 27900 / ton respectively; while price of Nylon DTY followed upward trend and its new price assessed around RMB 30000 / ton.
