In Asian market, propylene price increased by US $30 / ton to touch the level of $1165 / ton. Propylene price in European market remained stable at €910 / ton and ascended in the Japanese and Korean market, where it increased to $1160 / ton and $1170 / ton respectively. In the US market, price of propylene was around 46 cents / pound.
In Chinese market, Acrylic Staple Fibre price continued to increase and was quoted at RMB 21200 / ton. Buyers adopted a firm stance of wait and watch as since the last seven days, price has increased by RMB 200 / ton. Buyers were also uncertain about future demand.
In the F E Asian market, price of Acrylonitrile (ACN) was in the range of $1995-2000 / ton while in S E Asia, it stood at around $2015-2020 / ton. In Chinese market, ACN was priced at RMB 17700 / ton.
