Paraxylene prices declined as supply turned normal in Asian region. In Chinese spot market, price declined by US $25 to $1225 / ton. PX imported from the Taiwanese market was quoted around $1240-1245 / ton.
PTA price cargoes imported from Korean region were available in the range of $1050-1055 / ton. In Chinese domestic market, price of PTA was in the range of RMB 8400-8500 / ton. Offer in S E Asian market was assessed around $1040-1050 / ton.
Ethylene prices decreased by $10 to $1080 / ton and in S E Asian market, it stood at around $1085 / ton. In Japanese market, ethylene was in the range of $1115-1125 / ton. In European market, ethylene price hovered around $1115 / ton and in European domestic market it was around €915 / ton.
MEG price went down after it increased by $75 / ton in the previous week. In S E Asian market, price was in the range of $975-980 / ton, however trading concluded in the range of $965-975 / ton.
