Asian benzene trends rise, Chinese prices stable

In the Asian markets, benzene rose US $9 from the previous day to settle at $987-990 / ton (FOB Korea). China's domestic benzene market was stable on Wednesday and negotiation atmosphere looked dull.

Market price in East China stood at 7300-7300 Yuan / ton, in South China it was assessed at 7200-7350 Yuan / ton and in North China it was quoted at 7200-7350 Yuan / ton.

The Chinese benzene market has stabilized due to the influence of prices of overseas supplies. Downstream demand was limited, most traders were on the sidelines, and market prices were stable.

Market participants expect that short-term sentiment in the Chinese benzene market is likely to appear dull for some time.
