In Korean market it was quoted around 965 / ton, just $35 short of breaching the $1000 / ton mark. In Rotterdam market, price was assessed around $990-995 / ton. Spot prices were hovering at around €685-692 / ton.
Price of Nylon POY and FDY increased and in the Chinese domestic market it stood at around RMB 27300 / ton and RMB 28300 / ton, respectively. Price of Nylon DTY was stable at RMB 30500 / ton.
Caprolactam market opened with stable sentiment; offers remained unchanged in the range of $2750-2780 / ton. Price of Caprolactam in Chinese domestic market was unchanged at RMB 22750 / ton.
In tandem with upstream, nylon chip was stable at RMB 24500 / ton in Chinese market. Offer price in Chinese market was around RMB 24250-24750 / ton. In export market, price was in the range of $2830-2850 / ton.
