Offers in Eastern China stood at 7150-7200 Yuan / ton, prices in South China were quoted at 7150-7200 Yuan / ton and mainstream prices in North China were 7200-7250 Yuan / ton.
While overseas offers rose slightly, China's domestic benzene market was steady, due to the influence of decline in international oil prices.
Because of the downturn in styrene market, downstream sector held resistance to higher prices, watching atmosphere was strong in the market, as the market lacked transactions.
Market participants expect that short-term market conditions of domestic benzene may be even weaker.
