Propylene price jumped to US $1070 / ton due to overnight hike in energy prices. Trading hovered in the range of $1065-1070 / ton in S E Asia, while in European market it declined to €910 / ton and in export market, price was quoted around $880 / ton. Propylene price increased in Japanese and Korean market from $1125 / ton to $1130 / ton.
In Chinese market, Acrylic Staple Fibre price was sustained at level of RMB 22100 / ton. Price of Acrylic top was also stable around RMB 23000 / ton.
In Acrylonitrile market, prices did not change. In F E Asian market, ACN price stood at around $ 2105 / ton. In S E Asia, price was around $2105/ton. In Chinese domestic market, price of ACN was around RMB 18000 / ton. Market speculators seemed to be bullish on ACN.
Price of Acetonitrile was assessed in the range of $1.9-2.1 / kg in S E Asian market, and is expected to cross $2.25 / kg in near future.
