Paraxylene prices continued to rise and touched the level of US $1265 / ton. PX imported from the Korean market was quoted around $1255-1260 / ton. For December delivery, price was in the range of $1245-1250 / ton. In Taiwanese market, December delivery stood around $1260 / ton.
PTA offers increased by $20 to $1070 / ton but offers mainly concluded around $1065-1070 / ton in S E Asian market. In Korean region, it was quoted around $1065 / ton.
Ethylene market continued to move downwards due to ample availability and was assessed around $970 / ton in S E Asian market. In USA market, price was around 43.75 cents/pound. In European market, price was stable in the range of $1155-1160 / ton. In European domestic market, ethylene was steady around € 945 / ton.
In S E Asian market, MEG price touched $980 / ton.
