Propylene price turned bullish in tandem with upstream and was assessed at US $1095 / ton. Trading hovered in the range of $1090-1095 / ton in S E Asia, while in European market it declined to €925 / ton. Propylene price increased in Japanese and Korean market, to $1155 / ton and $1165 / ton, respectively.
In Chinese market Acrylic Staple Fibre price increased to level of RMB 22500 / ton. Price of Acrylic top also rose to around RMB 23300 / ton, up RMB 300 / ton.
In Acrylonitrile market, price did not change. In F E Asian market, ACN price was quoted around $2145 / ton. In S E Asia, price was around $2135 / ton. In Chinese domestic market, price of ACN increased by RMB 200 to RMB 18200 / ton. Market speculators were bullish on CAN, as feedstock remained firm.
Prices of Acetonitrile ascended to $2 / kg in S E Asian market, up 10 cents/kg, and is expected to cross $2.25 / kg in near future.
