Propylene price was stable at US $1170 / ton and trading was mainly done in the range of $1165-1170 / ton in S E Asia. Propylene price was steady in Japanese and Korean markets too, where price stood at $1225-1230 / ton, respectively.
In European market, price of propylene was around €925 / ton and in US, market price was around 48.3 cents/pound.
In Chinese market, Acrylic Staple Fibre price was stable at level of RMB 25500 / ton and that of Acrylic top was around RMB 26000/ton.
Price of Acrylonitrile increased. In F E Asian market, ACN price was in the range of $2145-2150 / ton. In S E Asia, price was around $2155 / ton. In Chinese ACN market, price was at quoted at RMB 19000-19400 / ton.
Price of Acetonitrile hovered around $2.20-2.30 / kg. Offers surged up to $2.50 / kg but there was no official deal confirmed at higher prices. There was active buying from India at $2.1 / kg.
