Price of PTA in S E Asian market remained stable and was assessed in the range of US $1165-1170 / ton. A marginal decline of $15 / ton was observed in Korean region and price hovered around $1150-1155 / ton.
One of the market experts from Korea is of the opinion that the price of PTA is surely expected to rise by the end of the year, but he added by saying, that PTA prices are likely to remain below the $1200 / ton mark in global markets.
