Paraxylene market went up and price was in the range of US$ 1325/ton to US$ 1330/ton. Prices in Korean market were offered in the range of US$ 1310/ton to US$ 1315/ton. Price hike was mainly attributed to the supply crunch in the market.
PTA price was range bound in Asian market. PTA price stood in the range of US$ 1160/ton to US$ 1170/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PTA offers remained firm in the range of RMB 9600/ton to RMB 9700/ton, down by RMB 50/ton.
Ethylene price increased in S E Asian and F E Asian market and was quoted at US$ 1082/ton and US$ 1140/ton, respectively. Ethylene price increased in European market as well and was assessed around US$ 1155/ton.
MEG market declined due to moderate demand in market. MEG offers in S E Asian market were quoted in the range of US$ 1015/ton to US$ 1020/ton. In Chinese international market, MEG offers were assessed in the range US$ 1010/ton to US$ 1015/ton and in Chinese domestic market, it was around RMB 8400/ton.
Offers for BGPET Chip in S E Asian market declined to US$ 1490/ton to US$ 1500/ton. In Chinese domestic market, offers were in the range of RMB 11500/ton to RMB 11700/ton.
FGPET Chip was quoted in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1460/ton in Chinese export market. In Indian market offer was around US$ 1480/ton.
