Paraxylene prices climbed up incredibly in the global markets. S E Asian PX prices ascended by US$ 30/ton, and hovered in the range of $1375/ton to US$ 1380/ton. Korean and Rotterdam Sea market too noticed a progressive change of US$ 30/ton and stood at US$ 1365/ton and US$ 1295/ton, respectively.
In Asian PTA market, prices continued to rise. Prices hiked by US$ 10/ton and lingered in the range of US$ 1175/ton to US$ 1180/ton. In F E Asia, the prices of PTA ascended by the same amount and were assessed at US$ 1180/ton.
Ethylene prices remained firm in the global markets. In S E Asia, prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1080/ton to US$ 1085/ton. Ethylene prices in F E Asia lingered at US$ 1145/ton. European markets remained constant at US$ 1155/ton in international market while the price in domestic market stood at € 985/ton.
MEG prices noticed some upward trends in Asian market. Prices for MEG in S E Asian region hiked by US$ 20/ton and hovered in the range of US$ 1045/ton to US$ 1050/ton. Chinese market observed MEG price at US$ 1030/ton.
Prices of BGPET Chips for S E Asia remained stable, hovering in the range of US$ 1490/ton to US$ 1500/ton. Offers in Chinese domestic markets lingered in the range of RMB 11300/ton to RMB 11500/ton.
FGPET Chips were assessed in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1460/ton in the Chinese market. Offers in Indian market were quoted at US$ 1480/ton.
