The caprolactam market continued its rising trend in the New Year. In the US dollar market, Belarus's tender rose to US $2,990 / ton the day before, most holders become reluctant sellers as being encouraged by the news, few offers reached US $3,000 dollars / ton, but the distance between buying and selling intention expanded, firm discussion was light.
In Chinese RMB market, offers from holders were confused. Lower level was around 24300-24500 Yuan / ton, higher level was around 24600-24800 Yuan / ton, mainstream discussion was around 24200-24600 Yuan / ton. Low-level offers were for large quantity, while high level offers were for small quantity.
