Acrylonitrile (ACN) prices dipped succumbing to continued buyers bias against seller prices that ruled high in Asian markets.
High prices maintained by sellers recorded between US $1430 to $1450 per metric ton, seems to have put off buyers who reasoned that their downstream finished products consumers were not ready to pick their high priced stocks.
Meanwhile, ACN supply position worried sellers who sought higher prices to later roundoff at about the prices at $1370 per metric ton CFR mark, way below their expected price.
All eyes are now on January market prices when hopefully, both the 'warring factions' on the market front may relent to start the new year on a positive note, commented a buyer.
