China's domestic benzene market firmly gained on Wednesday, negotiation atmosphere looked dull. Asian benzene closed at US $1127-1130/ ton (FOB Korea).
The Chinese benzene market was strong. Market price ranged 7950-8000 Yuan / ton in eastern China, 7800-7900 Yuan / ton in South China and 7800-7900 Yuan / ton in North China.
The Chinese domestic pure benzene market rose firmly, mainly driven by increased offers from domestic manufacturers, but downstream sector held strong waiting-and-seeing attitude.
Market participants expect that short-term domestic market may pose a steady consolidation trend.
