China imported 12,256 tons of benzene in December 2010, registering an increase of 36.39 percent from the previous month, but representing a reduction of 41.23 percent from the same period last year.
According to customs statistics, import value totaled to US $11.5989 million and average import price touched $946 / ton.
China imported 305,200 tons of xylene in December 2010, witnessing an increase of 1.46 percent from the previous month whereas the import value amounted to $386 million.
