Domestic PTA market appeared dull in East China on February 14, offers from holders were steady at 11,900 Yuan / ton, counteroffers from downstream sector were around 11700-11800 Yuan / ton, actually negotiated price was around 11,800 Yuan / ton, trading atmosphere was flat, actual transaction was moderate.
PTA market was stable in North China, mainstream offers were temporarily stable at 11,900 Yuan / ton, but bids from downstream sector was less, negotiated price mainly ranged between 11800-11850 Yuan / ton, the market was covered with waiting-and-seeing atmosphere, actual transaction was scarce.
Spot market of PTA imports was strong, offers for cargo produced in Taiwan were around US $1480-1485/ ton, but actually negotiated price was around US $1470-1475/ton.
Offers for Korean cargo rose to US $1470/ ton, downstream inquires were around US $1460-1465/ ton and actually negotiated price was around US $1465/ ton. Trading atmosphere and actual discussion was moderate.
