Paraxylene market price declined to US$ 1565/ton, in tandem with energy market. In S E Asian region, price was quoted in between US$ 1560/ton and US$ 1570/ton. In the F E Asian market, price hovered in the range of US$ 1570/ton to US$ 1580/ton. In Chinese market price went down to US$ 1565/ton. A major decline is expected in short term.
Today, the PTA market remained soft and declined by US$ 12/ton in Asian market. In China, Zhengzhou PTA futures opened low in today's early trading. PTA contract opened around RMB 10000/ton but trading concluded in between RMB 9890/ton to RMB 10050/ton. In Asian market PTA price declined to US$ 1270/ton to US$ 1285/ton.
Ethylene price remained stable in S E Asian market and was marked in the range of US$ 1375/ton to US$ 1385/ton. F E Asian market price was in the range of US$ 1335/ton to US$ 1340/ton. In European international and domestic market, price was stable at US$ 1565/ton and € 1140/ton, respectively. In USA market, ethylene was quoted around 65.25 cents/pound to 65.75 cents/pound.
MEG market went down in global market in tandem with downtrend in allied PET raw material. In S E Asian region, MEG prices hovered in the range of US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1095/ton. In Indian markets, price of MEG inclined to around US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1090/ton and in Chinese market, MEG price stood in the range of RMB 8400/ton to RMB 8600/ton.
BGPET Chips price went down in S E Asian region and was in between US$ 1750/ton to US$ 1770/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers were around US$ 1760/ton for exportable goods. In Chinese market BG PET Chip was at RMB 12700/ton.
FGPET Chips prices in Korean markets tuned weak in the range of US$ 1665/ton to US$ 1675/ton and in Indian market; it was assessed in the range of US$ 1710/ton to US$ 1720/ton. In Chinese market FG PET Chip was at RMB 12400/ton to RMB 12500/ton.
PSF price declined in Chinese market and PSF offers hovered around US$ 1905/ton to US$ 1860/ton. In Indian market 1.4 D PSF was around INR 101.75/Kg. 1.4 D Super black was around INR 114.25/Kg. In S E Asian market PSF offers were around US$ 1875/ton.
