The standard processes could be used as a benchmark to compare the company's best practice process and shows potential resource, cost savings and reduction of environmental impact. By implementing optimised processes, resource productivity could be increased, costs savings achieved, impact reduced and risks related to hazardous chemicals minimised all at the same time.
The result of the collaboration of Archroma, Huntsman, DyStar and CHT, bluesign technologies and the involvement of more than 80 chemical suppliers would give the textile industry the possibility to reduce resource consumption and their environmental impact in a big way. (NA)
