For the first time, the F&F clothing collection, exclusively available at Tesco, will be available to buy in central London stores, exclusively through Aurasma. Eye-catching F&F clothing designs will appear in the windows of the Covent Garden, Dean Street and Tooley Street flagship Metro stores, allowing passers-by to purchase directly from their smartphones bringing new meaning to the term “window shopping”.

By pointing their Aurasma-enabled mobile devices at the windows, shoppers will be able to see a virtual showcase of the F&F range on the catwalk. When watching this video, users can then simply tap to purchase the items on display.

Emily Shamma, Tesco Clothing Online Director, said: “Aurasma is a really exciting new technology that we think our customers will love using. Our smaller central London stores aren't big enough to have clothing ranges, so this is a great opportunity to help us to reach new customers.”

Martina King, Managing Director of Aurasma, said: “We are delighted to help Tesco extend its F&F range to customers in London. Tesco has used Aurasma to create a way for shoppers to 'window shop' and purchase from their mobile devices. It's a great example of how brands can use this technology to extend their range without decreasing store density and connect to their customers via their mobile devices.”

Aurasma is a radical piece of technology that represents the future of how we use our mobile devices by bringing the physical and virtual worlds together for the first time.
