Work and outdoor shoe company LaCrosse Footwear Inc has launched its new patent-pending EXO(TM) platform under its Danner brand.
EXO offers a revolutionary new technology that combines Danner's famous durability with the performance of an athletic shoe.
EXO's pioneering design replaces the conventional shank system with an ultra-light exoskeleton chassis. The result is a superior boot platform that provides more support, comfort and heel-to-toe flexibility, while reducing weight and foot fatigue.
Joseph Schneider, President and Chief Executive Officer, said, "Technological innovation is central to our long-term growth strategy."
"The EXO platform is our latest introduction designed to fulfill our expert consumer's demands for lighter, more athletic footwear," he added.
Danner's EXO platform is currently featured in the uniform category on the Telson GTX and will be introduced into the hunting category in July 2006 in the Kestrel GTX Series.
