NEC integrates Wellman BV production & logistics processes

Wellman BV, a subsidiary of Wellman Inc (polyester products maker) selects NEC's FlexProcess Process ERP software to improve manufacturing and supply chain operations.
ObTech, an international provider of enterprise software solutions and a fully owned subsidiary of NEC Corporation today announced that Wellman BV, part of Wellman Inc, one of the world's largest PET plastic producers and recyclers, has chosen NEC's FlexProcess ERP solution for its PET resins operations in the Netherlands.
The company selected NEC and ObTech to improve its manufacturing and supply chain processes, support cost management and provide quick response to all their customers needs.
Wellman BV is a subsidiary of Wellman Inc that manufactures fiber, packaging and engineering resins made from both virgin and recycled raw materials. Wellman is also one of the world's largest recyclers of plastics, with the capacity to reclaim almost 3 billion PET bottles and containers annually.
Wellman has facilities in the US, Ireland, the Netherlands and France. To manage their PET resins operations in Holland, Wellman BV chose to standardize on the FlexProcess ERP system.
