Lectra's PLM offering will soon be linked to the company's various business applications (for design, pattern making and prototyping), permitting the optimization of collections development processes. These world-renowned applications assure optimal quality and execution speed of all tasks related to the creation and development of products.
The design applications enable the conception of trend boards, fabric and textile motifs, models and silhouettes for simulation, and the visual presentation of product lines by theme. The pattern-making and prototyping applications permit the design of patterns and the rapid realization of physical prototypes. Beginning in mid-2006, these applications will also allow 3D visualization and validation of virtual prototypes.
Furthermore, a future version of Lectra's PLM offering will permit color finalization and validation.
In addition to the configuration and integration of the software, consulting, change management support, training and deployment of the PLM offering will be assured—in partnership with Lee Cooper—by Lectra's business consultants and experts who fully grasp customers' processes and provide them with the most relevant solutions.
Lectra's PLM Director, Pascal Denizart, said, "With our PLM offering, we help our customers overcome the challenges they face today, such as responding to the demands of their consumers and optimizing their relationships with suppliers and partners, no matter how numerous or geographically dispersed they may be.”
