Stork also specialises in upgrading existing printing lines, by retrofitting of rotary screen printing stations and system maintenance. This allows the wallcover producer to stay competitive without investing in a new press. Examples of system upgrades include servo-drive conversion, drying system enhancements and changeover to oil from gas which will reduce energy consumption, when combined with an incinerating system.
Other aspects of the company's product and service portfolio include flexo sleeves, in-register embossing systems and second-hand equipment. Stork Prints supports its customers with expertise and know-how wherever they are; its highly qualified, experienced representatives are based in 14 countries around the world.
Also, during January 2006, Stork will open its brand new Demo Centre equipped with the latest Stork printing lines, pre-press systems and ink dispensers.
