Gerber Technology has announced availability of the GERBERcutter XLc7000 in Southwest Asia, including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

The XLc7000 joins the GERBERspreader XLs50 in Gerber's line of new cutting room solutions designed to provide manufacturers in growth markets with easy-to-use, affordable and reliable automation solutions.

The XLc7000 offers low cost of ownership, superb accuracy and exceptional ease of use. It cuts up to 7.5 cm of compressed material - accommodating a wide variety of fabric types and material widths up to 2.0 meters.

The XLc7000 utilizes about half the space of a manual cutting operation and provides high cutting productivity, resulting in improved overhead recovery. "The XLc7000 offers state-of-the-art functionality and performance at an attractive price," said Todd Rhodes, Director, hardware systems product management, Gerber Technology.

"The XLc7000 and XLs50 were designed together to provide a seamless user interface which will dramatically simplify user training. Together, they provide a highly integrated cutting room solution, while at the same time offering the best price-performance package available on the market today."

XLc7000 Benefits: Easy installation allows users to begin using immediately. Intuitive graphic touch screen enables most users to learn the basics of operation in only a few hours.

Parts are cut accurately and notches are always placed correctly for fast and error-free assembly in the sewing process. Parts may be nested more closely together than manual cutting for material savings. More parts may be cut faster reducing lead and delivery times.
