County Draperies selects Eton 4000 production system

Eton Systems, the world's leading provider of unit production systems (UPS) for the sewn-products industries, announces that drapery, bedspread, and accessories manufacturer County Draperies Inc will install an Eton 4000 materials handling and factory floor data collection system in its state-of-the-art Middletown, New York (USA) facility.
The first of three planned Eton lines will comprise 38-workstations that will used to produce the company's entire line of draperies.
The fourth generation Eton 4000 system is designed to specifically address the needs of manufacturers of heavier, bulky, and higher volume products such as draperies and bedspreads.
In addition, the County Drapery system will employ a specially designed 6 rail sorting buffer to stage and sort order components back together prior to packing and shipment to the customer.
Since 1978, family-run County Draperies has emerged as a leading supplier of draperies and bedspreads to the hospitality, cruise line, healthcare, governmental, and other commercial industries.
In addition to serving virtually every major U.S. hotel chain, the company is an approved vendor to the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA Advantage program) and Marriott Hotels, Resorts, and Suites. The company's approximately 100 employees provide analysis, measurement, design, manufacturing, installation, and inspection services.
