The theme for ITMA 2007 is “the place for innovation”. Therefore it is the ideal stage for Datatex presenting its new Information Technology solutions to deliver business value to textile and apparel manufacturers.

Datatex will be featuring the following demos of integrated solutions:
• An order system to manage collections, open orders and assortments, samples and exclusive
• A business management system for purchasing, inventory and warehouse
• A planning system to accommodate color finish later, different units of measurement for the same product, and customer-definable product types and key structures
• A system process flow that takes care of the process flow per production order
• Information on production status to handle customer queries.
• A specific focus will be given to a recently released scheduling system: MCM – Machine Capacity Management.

MCM is a graphic planning tool, which helps the planner optimizing all production requirements such as machines capacity, production scheduling preferences, materials, additional resources while respecting requested planned dates.

The tool is planned to allow for both ASAP and ALAP production scenarios, and these may depend on product or on department.

The datatex solutions are built with Object - Oriented technology to offer web-based solutions fully developed under the universal J2EE standards, enabling them to main hardware and software platforms.

Presenting the stand for ITMA 2007 Ronnen Hagin, datatex vice-president Marketing & Sales, explained the directions of datatex R&D and implementation activities.
