William Stuek as TAGSYS new non-executive Chairman of BoD

TAGSYS, the global leader in item-level RFID infrastructure announced William Stuek as its new non-executive chairman of the board. Stuek is a 40-year high-tech and venture capital veteran.
Mr. Stuek has a rich and extensive history of leadership — most recently with a seven year stint in the private sector as Managing Director of CCMP Capital and as a partner with the Beacon Group. Prior to that, Mr. Stuek was Chairman and CEO of Systems Software Associates (SSA), a global enterprise resource software and service company.
Before joining SSA, Mr. Stuek had a 30-year tenure with IBM, where he served in a number of senior executive sales roles, including General Manager of North America Operations and General Director of Sales and Services for EMEA.
Mr. Stuek also was the senior executive involved with a number of product development divisions in IBM, ranging from mainframes to mini-computers to software, where he architected business and technology strategies and managed complex, global supply chains.
Mr. Stuek also served as Director, Chairman or CEO of several private and public companies in the United States, Europe and Asia between 1998 and 2007, including Viewlocity, Iwon, Strongwood, ASAT, Axentis, Vetco, ISG, GTP, Lightship, Synon and USA.net.
