bluesign technologies AG announces the foundation of a first regional office. bluesign technologies Germany gmbh started working in October 2007. In order to supply the strongly growing demand for bluesign services coming from all over the world along the textile supply chain bluesign technologies AG decided to enlarge its capacities.
bluesign technologies Germany is mainly responsible for the on-site bluesign screenings of bluesign system partners. Another main focus of the activities at the German office is the ongoing update and maintenance of the EHS database (Environment, Health and Safety), which is available for bluesign supporters as an internet platform, the so-called bluetool.
Examination and evaluation of lab tests for textiles as well as general EHS-services for bluesign technologies ag and industrial/public partners is the third strategic focus.
Located in Southern Germany in Augsburg near Munich, bluesign technologies Germany GMBH is close to the still very interesting German textile market. The regional office in Germany will also collaborate in research projects financed by the European Union and the German authorities.
