OptiTex partners Brooks Sports and Teamwork Apparel recently won awards from Apparel magazine for their outstanding business practices. Brooks won the top prize, the Grand All Star Award, while Teamwork Apparel received one of only nine All Star Awards.

“We're very excited two of our clients have been recognized for their contributions to the apparel industry,” says Yoram Burg, President, OptiTex USA. “These companies are visionaries, as is evidenced by their choice to use cutting-edge software to design style-leading clothes.”

OptiTex's software platform features such as 3D models, computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM). The OptiTex software tools enhance product quality as it reduces product development time from design through production. For example, because of the ability to share 3D designs, apparel manufacturers can reduce the sample process per garment from three weeks to less than three days.

Both Teamwork and Brooks specialize in sporting apparel. Brooks deploys OptiTex's 2D product line, while Teamwork has integrated its 2D and 3D products into its design processes.

OptiTex 2D product line includes software for pattern design, marker making and nesting, which increase productivity and reduce waste. The OptiTex 3D software allows 3D models of all shapes and sizes to not only wear the garments but to move while wearing them, enabling the customer to evaluate and finalize products immediately, before any production occurs. With OptiTex software, they can input the characteristics of each fabric they use, ensuring true fit.
