World's fashion elite is abuzz with the sights and sounds of New York Spring Fashion Week; the hottest trend may be invisible. Fashion designer Yeohlee Teng will debut elegant silk and linen garments enhanced with a Nano-Tex molecular fabric treatment during her Spring 2006 show at Fashion Week.
Silk and linen are two of the most comfortable and elegant fabrics for spring and summer apparel. They are also the most absorbent, allowing even the slightest spill or splash to spot the garment. YEOHLEE has incorporated the Nano-Tex Resist Spills treatment to protect the quality of the fabric and maintain the integrity of the design, so customers always look good and feel confident wearing the clothing.
YEOHLEE will showcase the collection on September 14, 2005, at 4 p.m. at the 26 + Helen Mills Theatre, a state-of-the-art theatre and loft space located at 137-139 West 26th Street in Northern Chelsea.
YEOHLEE dresses the "urban nomad," a term Teng coined for her fall 1997 collection, defining a lifestyle that requires clothing that works on a variety of practical and psychological levels. This is her first collaboration with Nano-Tex, a leading fabric innovation company providing textile enhancements to the fashion and interior furnishing markets.
"Nano-Tex is a luxury-line technology," said Renee Hultin, President of the Americas at Nano-Tex. "Technology features a highly refined and elegant construction that allows it to work transparently with even the most delicate fibers."
