Zenith wins FICCI Corporate Excellence Award

Federation of India Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) announced Zenith Computers, the largest Indian laptop manufacturer is the winner of the FICCI Corporate Excellence Awards - Hardware category.

The Corporate Excellence Award is given to a company who has had an impact on the industry and contributed to the growth of the Indian and global economy.

Zenith Computers, was felicitated by Sri Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister, Government of India, at the awards ceremony on February 15th evening in New Delhi at the inauguration of the 80th Annual General Meeting.

Zenith is one of India's most powerful brands in the IT industry incorporated in 1980 by Mr. Raj Kumar Saraf. Zenith Computers, headquartered in Mumbai, India, is over 25 years old with a turnover of approx. Rs.3.5 billion. Rapid expansion of the company's product lines and increase in customers has contributed to the factory size being doubled.

On winning this prestigious award, Raj Saraf said, “I thank the jury of the FICCI Awards for this recognition. It commends our efforts to bring computing to small and large enterprises. We have seen tremendous growth in the adoption in the PC and will continue the effort of affordable computing to the masses.”

The FICCI award is a testament to the outstanding contributions made by a corporate in enhancing customer responsiveness and initiating innovative product/service quality.
