Before Lawson, Langer was the healthcare industry executive for Workbrain leading its entry into workforce management solutions for healthcare. Previously at PeopleSoft, she was responsible for developing the company's strategy for the healthcare market.
Langer founded the PeopleSoft Healthcare Industry User Group and was active in the group for a decade. As the vice president of product strategy at Neoforma, she led development of innovative ecommerce solutions that helped lead to the company's initial public offering of stock on NASDAQ.
A Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems, Langer has also earned the recognition of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
