Leader in Collaborative Product Lifecycle Management (CPLM) solutions for the consumer products industry Zweave, Inc, has completed the development of its CPLM Solution under its Phase II SBIR contract from NAVSUP (Navy Supply Systems Command) for the U.S Navy Clothing and Textile Research Facility (NCTRF).
Zweave received considerable funding to research, develop and build software to address the gap between out of the box PLM software and the apparel specific needs and requirements of DOD program management offices developing, testing and sourcing soldier uniforms and equipment. Under the SBIR program guidelines Zweave retains rights to all solutions built for the Depar ent of Defense and is tasked to commercialize its solutions within both Federal and Commercial markets.

Zweave utilized detailed analysis of apparel product development processes within the private sector and the Navy to develop the first PLM solution to address the specific needs and requirements of product development specialists managing product portfolios, materials, color, technical specifications, requirements, testing and approvals, pattern making, 3D data management and fit.
Their CPLM solution incorporates five integrated modules, each one actingas a portal to support robust apparel industry features and functionality: PortfolioCOMM, MaterialCOMM, ColorCOMM, FitCOMM, VendorCOMM.
