Brooks Sports & BioMechanica JV for footwear R&D program

Running shoes & apparel seller Brooks Sports Inc has tapped BioMechanica LLC to reinforce its state-of-the-art footwear Research & Development (R&D) program with specialized product development and testing services.
As an outside research partner, BioMechanica will offer supplemental information to Brooks' in-house test findings and lend its extensive knowledge of athletic footwear analysis and evaluation to facilitate the process. BioMechanica will also provide Brooks with critical independent evaluation and validation of R&D concepts generated within Brooks' Advanced Concepts department.
Brooks Sports Advanced Concepts Materials Engineer Derek Campbell informs that the Brooks footwear team is pleased to draw on BioMechanica as an industry-leading, independent source to augment their own internal testing facility in the development of new products.
BioMechanica is the world's only private independent consulting firm with in-house evaluation and testing capabilities that specializes in athletic footwear research and development.
