Uster Technologies guests at opening ceremony
Worldwide leader in textile electronics producing systems and the creation of a brand which has a truly unique position in the textile industry Uster Technologies AG announced last year that part of their future production and development activities should be carried out in China.
After a relatively brief construction phase, the opening of this new subsidiary company was celebrated in the Singapore Industrial Park in Suzhou, a thriving technology center west of Shanghai.
Guests from both Uster and from Uster's Shanghai office took part along with employees from Suzhou and also distinguished local guests.
The company clearly identified China as a significant market for Uster Technologies AG.
“Their customers have benefited from recent investments in their established and recently expanded Sales and Service operations to increase their presence in all the major textile areas, with local sales and service engineers in Beijing, Shanghai, Qingdao, Urumuqi and Wuhan.”
But being close to the market also means being able to offer their customers in China tailor-made solutions for this critical market.
“With the new plant they can accommodate this growing need and handle the production of monitoring systems efficiently and geared to specific customer requirements.”
With the subsidiary in Suzhou, Uster Technologies AG plans to take advantage of the currently largest growth market in the world.
Uster Technologies is convinced that the plant will operate at full capacity in the near future and also allow the company to react fast and flexibly to market requirements.
