Manager of Boss models, Linda Bruchhausen, has rebuffed the idea of fashion industry setting dangerous precedents in thinness even as Milan fashion week has so far stayed away from the idea of disallowing thin skinned models off the ramp.
Bruchhausen has said that thinking regarding what constitutes a good model is changing even as Madrid and London fashion weeks witnessed organizers turning away the models below a certain weight standards.
He lauded the Cape Town fashion week as they turned away thin models as well who looked thin.
He said that it was a big step and the shows of Milan, Paris and London will also follow this trend because there is pressure mounting worldwide on models to be thin and they have to follow rigorous methods to be thin.
