The fashion industry is very much concerned by the rising number of deaths on the ramp and with the thinness of the models.
The British Fashion Council will set a panel to scrutinize the designers and agencies if they are commanding treacherous physical standards on their representatives.
The panel will be chaired by eating-disorder organizations, health professionals, model agencies, academics, designers, retailers and models.
The inquiry would be completed by late summer before London Fashion Week in September and would propose practical measures to tackle the problems of thin models.
Many elites of the British society are welcoming this attempt of British Fashion Council.
