Brazil's cotton exports to China drop as Pakistan becomes top buyer

China was the top destination for Brazilian cotton in January–April ****, accounting for a **.** per cent share. During that period, Brazil exported cotton worth $***.*** million to China. Brazilian cotton exports to Pakistan surged by *** per cent to $***.*** million in January–April ****, up from $***.*** million during the same period last year. Pakistan became the top market, accounting for **.** per cent of total exports, compared to *.** per cent a year earlier, when it ranked fifth.
