Brazil's cotton exports to China jump many folds; not linked to US ban

Brazil exported **.*** million kg of cotton in ****, valued at $***.*** million. The value and volume of exports more than tripled to ***.*** million kg ($***.*** million) in ****, and further grew to ***.*** million kg ($***.*** million) in ****, according to Fibre2Fashion’s market insight tool TexPro. 

Despite COVID-related disruptions, Brazil exported ***.*** million kg of cotton to China in ****, valued at $*,***.*** million. However, the volume and value of exports slightly fell to ***.*** million kg ($***.*** million) in ****, and further eased to ***.*** million kg ($*,***.*** million) in ****, as per TexPro. Despite the decline in shipments over the last two years, the exports still increased more than three times in terms of volume and value.
