Fabric trade between Vietnam & Thailand drops in Jan-Sept

*.*pt"> Major apparel exporters—Vietnam and Thailand—are seeking to expand their bilateral trade ties. Both nations depend on each other for fabric supplies, crucial for their garment industries. Between January and September ****, Vietnam&#**;s fabric imports from Thailand decreased by **.** per cent, while Thailand&#**;s fabric imports from Vietnam dropped by *.* per cent in the same period. However, Thailand&#**;s apparel imports from Vietnam have shown significant growth. 

*.*pt"> Recently, Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his Thai counterpart, Srettha Thavisin, agreed to intensify efforts to achieve a bilateral trade target of $** billion by facilitating the flow of goods. The leaders met and discussed these matters in Tokyo on Sunday.
