Conversely, Japan&#**;s exports in textile yarn and fabric decreased by *.* per cent year-on-year, amounting to **,*** million yen. On a brighter note, exports of textile machinery saw a significant boost, reaching **,*** million yen, up by **.* per cent from July ****. These exports contributed *.* per cent to Japan&#**;s total exports.
