Primary Wool Cooperative – a farmer-owned body is very pleased for having sponsored the main feature at 'Fieldays'.
The primary objective for sponsoring the main feature was to pass on the message about the benefits of wool to the visitors.
According to the wool body, wool fibre has always been considered as a by-product, which meant that farmers as well as consumers lost interest.
However, the fair was able to pass on message of additional benefits of wool to the visitors.
For the first time in the history of the over four decade's old fair, wool and its recovery was under the spotlight.
New Zealand National Agricultural Fieldays is the largest agri-business exhibition in the Southern Hemisphere.
