Prices of wool declined in Sydney markets this week from high-prices obtained at Newcastle markets last week.
Prices decreased between 30 and 40 cents at Sydney markets on Friday owing to the quality being lower compared to the wool that was on offer in Newcastle.
Wool on sale this week at Sydney markets was mainly from central and southern tablelands, central New South Wales and central area.
