Buyers for China were dominant followed by buyers for India.

Sales will be held in Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle next week in the last sate before the three week Christmas break. 49,343 bales are currently rostered for sale, a 5.0% increase when compared with the same sale last year.

The New Zealand Merino Company is rostered to offer 1,160 bales in Melbourne next week.

In South African sales, the Cape Wools Indicator was down by 3.4% since last week against a 4.4% appreciation of the Rand against the US Dollar and a 3.6% appreciation against the Euro. 14,137 bales were on offer.
