Buyers for China were dominant, with support from buyers for Europe (in particular) and India.
Sales will be held in Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle next week, when 48,038 bales are currently rostered for sale. The present estimate for the following sale (Week 39) is 46,283 bales; an increase of 10.1% over the two sale period when compared with last year. There is no sale in Week 40 – the week after Easter.
