Wool textile production looks up

China's production of wool textiles has recorded a substantial jump for January through February 2006 period.

Wool yarn production for the period reached 57,400 tons, registering an increase of 5.0 percent compared to previous year's revised output, whereas it actually represents growth of 27.0 percent compared to last year's same period original production statistics.

Production of wool fabric during the same period climbed 36.0 percent from revised January through February 2005 output with production touching 61 million square meters.
