New wool contract system unable to get market support

A new contract selling system for superfine wool rather than auction system did not receive good response at a series of nationwide meetings.
According to President of Australian Super Fine Wool Growers Association, Frank O'Connor, says he is doubtful about the support and also concerned about the money needed to implement this system.
He also mentioned that he will be satisfied only when 25 percent of the superfine variety is involved in this system.
