Indian wool products are in demand as the local manufacturers have bagged orders worth Rs15 crore from South Africa (SA) based buyers.
South Africa based importers put orders for wool products like shawls, stoles, made-ups and woolen knitwear etc, said officials of Wool & Woolen Export Promotion Council, Mumbai.
A delegation of traders visited South Africa to meet buyers, wholesalers, agents and retailers and displayed their wide range of products to SA buyers.
The council also plans to send another trade delegation to Europe and America for participating in fairs to be held in these countries this year.
